The midfielder Daniel Parejo has stated today, after undergoing the medical test previous to his presentation as a Valencia player, that is “a dream” to arrive to the club “that aims for everything”.
The player, who will sign a contract for the next five seasons, has made these statements just after going out of the clinic in which he underwent the medical tests and has added that Valencia is “one of the best clubs in Europe and has a high prestige” within the continent.
In his short appearance before the media the player from Madrid had also time to stress the presence of the Mestalla team in the Champions League, a competition that “for a player means all”.
When asked about if he knew about if his mate at the under-21 national team, Juan Mata, will continue in Valencia or will sign with Barcelona, Parejo has stated that he doesn’t know but that the player from Asturias has talked to him “very good” about the city, the club, the players and the fans. “The truth is that he painted everything great”, he added.
The official presentation of the 22 years old Parejo before the media will be at 20.00 this evening at the Cova Gran of the city of Paterna.
