Javi Martnez, Vitolo and Adrian among selected in Lopetegui's first Spain call-up

Spain manager Julen Lopetegui has named a 24-man squad for the seniors' upcoming games with Belgium and Liechtenstein. Javi Martnez (Bayern Mnchen), Vitolo (Sevilla FC) and Adrin (West Ham United) are among the players selected by the new coach of the Spain National Team.

 

For the West Ham goalkeeper is the first call-up for senior National Team and could make his first cap in upcoming fixtures.

 

Spain will warm up before their Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a friendly against Belgium. Spain travel to face Belgium in Brussels on Thrusday 1 September, with matters getting under way at the King Baudouin Stadium at 8.45pm GMT.

 

Lopetegui's men then return to Spain, where they face Liechtenstein at Reino de Leon stadium on Monday 5 September, with a kick-off time of 8:45pm GMT.

 

The full call-up list is as follows:

 

- Goalkeepers: David de Gea (Manchester United), Pepe Reina (Nápoles), Adrián San Miguel (West Ham).

 

- Defenders: Marc Bartra (Borussia), Jordi Alba (Barcelona), Gerard Piqué (Barcelona), César Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid), Sergi Roberto (Barcelona), Javi Martínez (Bayern).

 

- Midfielders: Sergio Busquets (Barcelona), David Silva (Manchester City), Thiago Alcántara (Bayern), Saúl Ñíguez (Atlético Madrid), Koke (Atlético Madrid), Juan Mata (Manchester United), Marco Asensio (Real Madrid).

 

- Forwards: Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid), Lucas Vázquez (Real Madrid), Nolito (Manchester City), Paco Alcácer (Valencia), Diego Costa (Chelsea), Vitolo (Sevilla).
